Cette OPA (op\u00e9ration de pourrissement annonc\u00e9) agressive sur la concurrence que repr\u00e9sentait la S1000RR donnera le ton d\u2019une nouvelle \u00e8re de modernit\u00e9 pour toute la marque bavaroise, avec les d\u00e9clinaisons S1000R et S1000XR qui en d\u00e9couleront. Il faut dire qu\u2019avec ce 4 cylindres en ligne de 199 ch, BMW pose alors de nouvelles r\u00e9f\u00e9rences dans un segment en perte de vitesse, dans les chiffres de vente. Dans les faits, elle ne s\u2019impose pas dans toutes les comp\u00e9titions o\u00f9 elle est engag\u00e9e, mais l\u2019affront est suffisamment important pour que la concurrence commence \u00e0 pr\u00e9parer la riposte.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h5>BMW M1000RR : MOTEUR<\/h5>\n<div class=\"wysiwyg-content\">\n<p class=\"p1\">Structurellement, le moteur de la M1000RR n\u2019est pas \u00e9loign\u00e9 de celui de la S1000RR, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 optimis\u00e9 \u00e0 tous les \u00e9tages pour gagner en efficacit\u00e9 pure sur piste gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des \u00e9l\u00e9ments plus l\u00e9gers. Dans le d\u00e9tails, le 4 cylindres en ligne de 999 cm3 \u00e0 distribution variable Shiftcam gagne de nouveaux pistons forg\u00e9s \u00e0 deux segments Mahle (-12 g), des chambres de combustion adapt\u00e9es, un taux de compression augment\u00e9 de 13,3 \u00e0 13,5 pour 1, des bielles Pankl en titane plus longues et plus l\u00e9g\u00e8res (-85 g), des culbuteurs plus \u00e9troits et l\u00e9gers (6,5 mm et \u2013 45 g par culbuteur), des collecteurs d\u2019admission enti\u00e8rement usin\u00e9s avec une g\u00e9om\u00e9trie de tubulures repens\u00e9e, des soupapes d\u2019\u00e9chappement en titane avec nouveau jeu de ressorts, des trompettes d\u2019admission plus courtes pour optimiser les transferts \u00e0 haut r\u00e9gime\u2026 La cons\u00e9quence de ces changements, c\u2019est une puissance maximale d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e qui passe de 207 \u00e0 212 ch \u00e0 14 500 tr\/min, soit 1000 tours de plus. La zone rouge est elle aussi repouss\u00e9e de 500 tours, soit 15100 tr\/min. Le couple maximal reste identique, avec 113 Nm \u00e0 11 000 tr\/min, mais la courbe est optimis\u00e9e aux moyens et hauts r\u00e9gimes, ceux qu\u2019on utilise principalement en piste, pour d\u00e9laisser les bas r\u00e9gimes. On ne la qualifiera pas de \u201ccreuse\u201c, mais de plus creuse qu\u2019auparavant, au b\u00e9n\u00e9fice d\u2019une plage d\u2019utilisation enti\u00e8rement d\u00e9di\u00e9e \u00e0 la performance.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h5><\/h5>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: right;\">BMW M1000RR : CH\u00c2SSIS<\/h5>\n<div class=\"wysiwyg-content\">\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\">Outre le moteur revu sur beaucoup de pi\u00e8ces optimis\u00e9es, c\u2019est certainement sur le ch\u00e2ssis et ses modifications peu visibles \u00e0 l\u2019oeil que les changements sont plus sensibles.<br \/>\nLa suspension fait un joli bond avec un nouvel \u00e9quipement fourni par Marzocchi, une fourche de \u00d8 45 mm (au lieu de 46 mm), \u00e9videment r\u00e9glable sur tous les points avec 10 clics bien visibles en haut des fourches, l\u2019un pour la d\u00e9tente, l\u2019autre pour la compression, avec un d\u00e9battement de 120 mm. \u00c0 l\u2019arri\u00e8re, la cin\u00e9matique a \u00e9t\u00e9 modifi\u00e9e. L\u2019amortisseur (118 mm de d\u00e9battement) \u00e9galement r\u00e9glable en d\u00e9tente et compression sur 10 clics re\u00e7oit une nouvelle biellette de r\u00e9glage de longueur, avec une tige plus courte (78 mm au lieu de 87,5) mais offrant 7 positions par pas de 1 mm, tandis que le ressort est constitu\u00e9 d\u2019un nouvel acier.<br \/>\nToute la g\u00e9om\u00e9trie de la moto est aussi modifi\u00e9e dans le d\u00e9tail, mais n\u2019est-ce pas l\u00e0 que le diable s\u2019y cache ? On retrouve de nombreux ajustements qui doivent stabiliser la supersportive M par rapport \u00e0 la S. L\u2019angle de chasse est ainsi ouvert de 0,5\u00b0 (23,6\u00b0), faisant augmenter la chasse au sol \u00e0 99,8 mm (+5,9 mm) ainsi que l\u2019empattement \u00e0 1 457 mm (contre 1 441 mm). Le bras gagne \u00e9galement 11,7 mm en longueur et son axe de fixation au cadre offre 5 positions (- 2mm \u00e0 + 2 mm).<br \/>\nQui dit modification de la fourche, dit aussi modification du freinage. Bye Bye l\u2019\u00e9trier Hayes \u00e0 l\u2019avant et le Brembo \u00e0 l\u2019arri\u00e8re, la M1000RR opte pour des freins M, qui s\u2019av\u00e8rent \u00eatre un ensemble Nissin issu du WSBK, rien que \u00e7a ! Les \u00e9triers radiaux 4 pistons pincent des disques de 320 mm, mais dont l\u2019\u00e9paisseur passe de 4,5 \u00e0 5 mm. L\u2019\u00e9trier arri\u00e8re est lui plac\u00e9 sous l\u2019axe de roue, histoire d\u2019abaisser encore le centre de gravit\u00e9 et de faciliter le changement rapide des pneus pour l\u2019arr\u00eat au box. Il est o\u00f9 le diable d\u00e9j\u00e0 ?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h5><\/h5>\n<h5>BMW M1000RR : ELECTRONIQUE<\/h5>\n<div class=\"wysiwyg-content\">\n<p>Avec les suspensions Marzocchi \u00e0 r\u00e9glage manuel, on oublie les suspensions \u00e9lectroniques DDC (Dynamic Damping Control), m\u00eame en option. Ce qui n\u2019est pas forc\u00e9ment une mauvaise chose quand on recherche la performance pure, les algorithmes qui g\u00e8rent ces \u00e9l\u00e9ments et qui se basent sur une conduite sur route ouverte peuvent \u00eatre d\u00e9pass\u00e9s par les conditions extr\u00eames de la piste. Reste toutes les autres b\u00e9quilles qui sont toutes comprises dans la dotation de base de la M1000RR et se r\u00e8glent depuis l\u2019\u00e9cran TFT 6,5 pouces qu\u2019on connait depuis quelque temps.<br \/>\nOn y trouve donc tous les modes de pilotage, Rain, Road, Dynamic, Race pr\u00e9-\u00e9tablis, plus 3 modes Race Pro totalement configurables permettant de r\u00e9gler la r\u00e9ponse moteur, le Race ABS Pro, le contr\u00f4le de traction (avec en plus un bouton d\u2019acc\u00e8s rapide au commodo gauche), le frein moteur, le contr\u00f4le de wheeling, le launch control, le pit-lane limiter et\u2026 le Hill Start Control (???), ou aide au d\u00e9marrage en c\u00f4te, certainement pr\u00e9vu pour vous aider \u00e0 monter la rampe dans votre motorhome apr\u00e8s la s\u00e9ance qualif ! (sans oublier le r\u00e9gulateur de vitesse et les indispensables poign\u00e9es chauffantes).<br \/>\nCette \u00e9tape, c\u2019est un peu le casse-t\u00eate. Non pas qu\u2019elle soit compliqu\u00e9e, mais les r\u00e9glages sont nombreux, et c\u2019est un peu fastidieux pour une sportive, de rentrer dans les menus, surtout si on n\u2019est pas habitu\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019ergonomie BMW. Et puis il y a une nouvelle moto \u00e0 appr\u00e9hender, sur un nouveau circuit (pour votre essayeur de jour, premi\u00e8re \u00e0 Dijon !), et des pneumatiques in\u00e9dits \u00e9galement avec les Michelin Power Slick 2, et surtout l\u2019envie d\u2019en d\u00e9coudre tr\u00e8s vite avec tour cela pour d\u00e9grossir les premi\u00e8res impressions.
